Who is Gerdi Stewart?

The Facilitator/Presenter – Gerdi Stewart

Gerdi Stewart is a speaker, trainer and consultant in effective business communications. Gerdi began her business, Pursuit Communications, in 1997. Since then she has been educating and motivating audiences on communication skills, leadership skills, customer service, teambuilding and workplace morale.

Gerdi's knowledge and enthusiasm about business communications comes from her experience as a consultant, facilitator, senior manager in a leading non-profit organization and co-owner of a payroll company. Gerdi combines her knowledge and experience to deliver training that is informative and inspiring. Her personable and energetic style encourage active discussions and idea sharing for “real life” situations.

Gerdi is committed to continued personal growth and professional development. She is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Human Ecology and a Bachelor of Education. She holds a variety of designations including:

  • Professional member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers
  • Certified trainer of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator
  • Certified Tourism Trainer for the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council
  • Professional Home Economist
